At the Hankuk University for International Studies, Yongin Campus, on November 27, was held the ninth consecutive annual competition of students of Serbian language under the name SeCro Vision Contest.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia Zoran Kazazovic and Counsellor Aleksandar Djordjevic, attended the event at the invitation of the Dean of the East European and Balkan Institute, Professor Kwon Hyeokjae.

There were about 80 contestants who recited Serbian poetry, performed songs of popular Serbian singers with the corresponding choreography, and a folk group from the Serbian language department performed a traditional Serbian country dance, Vlasko kolo. With these excellent performances, the students of Hankuk University showed an extraordinary enthusiasm for learning the Serbian language and culture, as well as for deepening relations with Serbia.

Ambassador Zoran Kazazovic praised the students for their hard work and interest in learning Serbian language, and handed awards to the best performers at the end of the programme.

At the Hankuk University there are currently 120 students of Serbian language across all four years of study, and on a yearly basis around 35 students sign up for the study programme. Hankuk University has established relations with universities in Belgrade and Novi Sad.
